Senior Sales Representative

At Blue Jeans Network, our mission is to make video communications as easy as a phone call, enabling more effective collaboration at work, at home, and on the road. The Blue Jeans Network extends high quality video communications beyond the traditional boundaries of specialized conference rooms and into the mainstream, allowing employees throughout an enterprise to interact more effectively with each other, and with their customers, partners, suppliers, family, and friends. Blue Jeans Network is adding a Senior Sales Rep to our team in Mountain View, California. Reporting to the Head of Sales, this position will be responsible for driving the sales process from lead gen to close, mentoring more junior members of the sales team and contributing to overall advancement of corporate sales goals. The right candidate will be an energetic person with passion and innate drive to excel at any task. He/she will have 6-10 years of sales experience that includes substantive experience in the subscription software . As is typical with start-ups, this role goes beyond a traditional function – the person must have the ability to act independently in an unstructured environment, operate proactively and have a passion/appreciation for the vision and mission of the company. The role includes the following:

Role & Responsibilities

  1. Respond to inbound calls and leads from various sources and qualify for business potential
  2. Contact prospects and partners through, but not limited to, video calls, phone calls, email, mailings, fax and seminars
  3. Execute a sales process from discovery, solution, pricing, negotiation, and close
  4. Define/drive improvements to the sales process
  5. Drive relevancy and alignment with C-Level Executives
  6. Collaborate with business development, marketing, product management and engineering to facilitate new programs, campaigns, and offerings
  7. Mentor other team members and demonstrate sales leadership through example

Qualifications

  1. 6-10 years of software or technical services sales experience
  2. Highly Motivated; Can work in a rapidly growing company and industry
  3. Listen to customers; Tailor messages to customers based on their needs
  4. Aggressively hunts for new sales opportunities and follows up professionally on leads
  5. Ability to take communicate value of Blue Jeans’ products in a clear and succinct manner
  6. Strong self-starter who is a team player and can work independently
  7. Passion to be on a team with the vision to radically change the way we communicate and connect
  8. BS or BA in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience
