Senior Marketing Operations Manager

Reporting to the VP of Marketing you will own development of the marketing processes, marketing automation and analytics. This is a great opportunity for a self-motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment defining and owning new processes and identifying opportunities for process improvements that yield ROI. In this role, you will define the scoring and nurturing marketing process, funnel metrics, co-ordinate demand generation campaigns using marketing automation tools, manage lead distribution and follow-up using Salesforce.com. This role will be critical for timely execution of campaigns and measuring their effectiveness by tracking, reporting on and providing analysis on campaign metrics. In addition, this role will map out repeatable processes and manage database operations. A key to your success will be your ability to manage projects in a cross functional environment that will span a talented team of engineering, corporate marketing, sales, customer support, web development, and creative.

Role & Responsibilities

Operation and Processes

  1. Drive marketing infrastructure by selecting, deploying and maintaining a cutting edge Marketing Automation platform (including scoring, multi-touch nurture, profiling and targeted content)
  2. Manage data governance processes and adherence of guidelines between internal business units
  3. Develop and implement process improvement, identify and eliminate bottlenecks in pre and post processes that inhibit lead processing time
  4. Ensure alignment and consistency between CRM, marketing platform and back end product databases

Reporting and Analysis

  1. Maintain marketing team overall scorecard along with few important metrics for the executive team
  2. Drive data development for quarterly marketing reviews.
  3. Create and maintain marketing dashboards and reports, and analyze data related to opportunity conversions, marketing funnel stages, campaign effectiveness, database health, list and campaign performance.

Campaign Management

  1. Manage/execute on Batch & Blast email campaigns
  2. Create data segmentation filters, groups, and distribution lists for campaigns and nurturing programs

Qualifications

  1. 5-8 years of experience in online marketing of software, SaaS or online marketing/advertising industries
  2. Power user in Marketo/Eloqua, Salesforce.com, Excel
  3. Experience managing outside vendors
  4. Previous experience in lead gen or inside sales groups a plus
  5. Must be results oriented with a proven ability to deliver commitments on time while achieving or exceeding revenue/profitability goals
  6. Strong strategic thinking, creative problem solving and analytical skills
  7. Demonstrated ability to drive cross functional teams to meet business objectives and influence co-workers, fostering strong working relationships
  8. Strong self-starter who is a team player and can work independently
  9. Passion to be on a team with the vision to radically change the way we communicate and connect
  10. BS or BA in a technical or business discipline or equivalent experience
  11. MBA preferred
