Greetings from London! My name is Nina and I’m a Customer Success Manager here at Blue Jeans Network. I’m really excited to tell you more about our EMEA team and culture. We are much smaller than our Mountain View, California headquarters but we still hold the same values in our culture as they do over the pond.
An organization is only as good as the people that comprise it. In order to retain the highest caliber employees, you need to keep your team motivated, involved, and engaged. Feeling enthusiastic about one's work leads to personal satisfaction, as well as improved performance which benefits the organization on a whole.
Communication is the key to success for any business. Blue Jeans gives your business the tools it needs to grow through cohesive, collaborative, communications without the hefty investment expenditure that would usually accompany such tools.

At Blue Jeans Network, we understand the importance of strong decision making. Smart decisions are all about consulting your colleagues, collecting the best information, and critically evaluating that information to determine outcomes.
I recently read that a 15% decrease in the length of the sales cycle can yield a 30% increase in revenue. Think about that… 30% more revenue just by executing slightly more effectively. I am always looking for ways to reduce sales cycles while preserving high value. Aside from real time, face-to-face interactions that help in closing deals faster, there are many other tools, like our Blue Jeans for Salesforce integration that reduce friction and provide additional value for customers.
Additionally, we rely on our partners, managers and executives who have existing relationships to reinforce our messaging. We also look to our champions or other external resources to assist in bridging disparate gaps. But what about relying on our own, good old-fashioned salesmanship? Hint: I don’t mean annoying top prospects with low value and obnoxious follow up voice mails asking for status updates. These are the types of messages that circulate on sales floors and end up as mockery sale trainings on how NOT to leave an effective voice mail!
A few years ago, many predicted that video-enabled laptops and mobile devices would kill demand for the video conferencing room system. Videoconferences would feature “Brady Bunch” layouts with every participant shown in a head-and-shoulders view. Who wouldn’t prefer this picture to that of a camera pointed down a long conference room table? And yet, unit sales of room systems continue to grow. What’s the explanation?
At Blue Jeans Network there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes, and we have a whole big team of smart, talented people working together to make video conferencing as easy and seamless as possible. “In the Hot Seat” will be an ongoing series spotlighting Blue Jeans employees to give outsiders an inside look at the team.
Hi Blue Jeans Aficionados,
