I just sent you a video meeting invite.. Why oh, why, are you dialing in by audio? This thought kept running through my head this past week during my online meetings with external vendors. In typical Blue Jeans fashion, I always want to share how easy and seamless the video conferencing experience can be. Despite my better efforts, I realized that some users are just more accustomed to using an audio bridge.
At Blue Jeans Network we continually strive to improve our service with new features and capabilities. On Tuesdays our Sales Engineering team is going to talk about a different tip to get you better acquainted with the service and to get the most out of your meetings. For this first installment, they'll walk you through our brand new Push to Talk feature.
Our investors at Battery Ventures who led our latest round of funding know the pain of traditional video conferencing all too well. And so they got together to make a short video to show exactly what they’d really like to do with all that clunky video conferencing hardware if a bat and an open field were nearby... (Office Space fans- this one’s for you).
Today, we’re thrilled to announce the official launch of the Blue Jeans service in Australia. We’re no stranger to the land down under; in fact, Australia is our sixth largest market, consuming over one million video call minutes, by 60,000 participants from 169 companies. One of those companies is 99Designs, a design firm with offices in Melbourne, San Francisco, Berlin, Paris and Brazil. Check out the full press release here.
